I took the kids to school this morning, which is a little different than most days as Brian takes them. But the first day, mom got to. Lauren was a bit concerned this morning that she was going to go into the wrong door. As you may recall, last year she was in kindergarten at a different place, so this year is her first year at Northridge school. But this morning when she got a bit nervous, mother Katie took her by the arm and they both walked off to the playground together. So nice to have an older sister to look out for you!! Now Matt on the other hand, headed off with a friend right away to play some football!
So was a good day and the kids are all fast asleep right now! One nice thing about getting back into the groove of things. Matt is doubly tired, as he also started football practice this week. He has moved up this year to Midget Football...and wouldn't ya know it, his team is....wait for it.....da Bears! And dad is even more happy as he is assisting in coaching and we all know who his favorite team is!
And our family grew once again...yes, Tate is back at home. He is back at the books as well and trying to juggle going to the farm and finish harvesting and homework. He is back at BSC and getting his associates in welding. Let's just hope he can handle all this...he will be tired. But is nice to have him home again for a while...even though we don't see him much! We also have to share his time with his girl...Caitlin Maus - nice girl, so we get to see her as much as Tate as she is attending BSC as well.
Here are some pictures of the kids this morning all dressed and ready for the first day of school!

They seem so grown up! I'm glad they enjoyed their first day of school---and riding the bus. It's Natalie's favorite part of the day as well! :)
