Bathroom gets a new look!

We finally got our upstairs bathroom cabinets and countertop finished. I have been wanting to test out my renovation skills and so far we really like what was done. We stripped the cabinets in the bathroom and made them look antique. We then redid the countertops, replaced the faucet and installed a new light fixture. Brian routed a design in the front of all the cabinets and then we sanded, primed and painted...I am not going to lie, it was hard work. But we wanted to test it as we are contemplating what to do in the kitchen.

As most of you know, we have been remodeling our basement, going on 4 years now. And I am very happy to report that we have officially gutted the last room. In fact, now just waiting for the next egress window to get cut out. Then hopefully this fall/winter there will be new carpet in the basement and finally we may be able to say....WE ARE DONE! But then the question is...will we stay here for awhile, or will we move. Brian seems to think that we will be here for a while, however, I feel at times we have outgrown this house.

I have to say...I am very fortunate to have such a "handy" husband. I don't know how he knows how to do all of these things, but I am truly lucky.
Here are some photos of our remodeled upstairs bathroom!

Next I need to find a new mirror. So...I guess I have to go shopping! :) - dang
