One other thing that Katie loves as much as dancing is singing. She had her Christmas concert at school on Monday, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear them singing about Jesus' birth.
She was getting a little annoyed with boys behind her. She looked back at them many times throughout the night. I asked her later why she kept turning around...she said because the boys in the back were screaming words that didn't make sense with the song. Boys, boys, boys!!!
I do have to note though, after the concert I went to the back room to pick Katie up and I visited with her teacher, Mrs. Jensen. She told me that something happened before the performance that was pretty cute...a little boy in Katie's class leaned over to Katie and said...."Katie, I think your dress is very pretty". I thought how cute. Katie's teacher said that Katie was very quiet but said "thanks" and turned around. Oh the fun years I have before me!!!
Katie had such a cold...but she toughed it out. Her poor nose.
